Stepping Outside Of The Box

Kay so one of the assignments in Acting Academy is to create a character to play and take that character out of the four walls of the drama studio in to the outside world whether it be into the school or the mall or church etc. and see and note the way the public reacts to you character

So for the longest while i could not come up with an idea for my character i wanted to do a pregnant teen and go to my friend 's church to see how typical church folks would treat a knocked-up teenage who grew up in the church and as they would say "should know better". but after talking to other people in my class i realized that quite a few of us were doing the same thing which meant we would all probably get the same kind of reactions. So i can up with a little twist to my character what i plan to do is for anyone who is brave enough to ask about my "baby situation" i would tell them that i was raped. then i would watch their expression go from one of disgust to one of pity. so this should be a very enriching expericence. i just hope i can pull the whole thing off , or that no one blows my cover
