You Can't Make It On Your Own

in our acting academy class, all of us were split up into three group, and given a challenge. our challenge was to meet contacts in the acting as a professional actor, a photopgrapher who specializes in actor headshots, a professional producer, an acting school, and lastly an acting agency in Toronto. for each contact we found, we had to take a picture with the person as well as get their business card. but the biggest part of the challenge was to make some kind of a conection with that person whcih could benefit the class. my group had won the first challenge so we wanted to continue our streak. our biggest road-block was trying to find an acting acency since on of us were able to make it all the way to toronto. so my group hat to come up with a plan B. to make up for losing that contact. We came up with two etra contact as special guests our biggest contact was getting the professinal photographer to come in and take headshots of our class free our charge!

though the whole ecperience i learnt that in certain industries like the entrainment one it is near impossible to get anywhere without how those contact and connection. i had always known that as actors we needed to have contacts asn a network of people but after completing this challenge it showed me just how improtant it is. also that you have to have the right people to make it big time!
